Beware of Scammers!!
Whether you buy a baby from us or another breeder, please be thorough in your search and questions. We ourselves have had scammers try to get us and we have had many new buyers lose money due to wanting a new family member. Ask for references that you can contact directly, ask to Facetime, ask to see the dog before hand. Anything to ensure you are getting a real person and dog and not someone trying to simply make a quick payday at the expense of someone's broken heart. DO NOT put any money down until you are sure of the dog or puppy! If they are unwilling to do what they can to make you feel comfortable, then they are more than likely a scam.

About Us
We have been raising dogs for over 40 years and dachshunds for 35 years. We are committed to breeding strong healthy puppies that will give their owners a lifetime of blessings! We are working hard to cross lines that have strong loins, long rib cages, high tail sets and strong bone structure which will help support the spine. Our long term goal is to make the horrible back issues in dachshunds rare instead of common.
We are diligently crossing dogs that do not carry extra weight genetically. Dachshunds are known to be overweight which causes more issues for their back. Shadow Prince, one of our foundation males, has been instrumental in this area. He does not carry any extra weight and consistently passes this onto most of his offspring. Gravity is their worst enemy and this is a key factor in helping the Dachshund thrive as they should. Correct structure is also key in ensuring a healthier Dachshund. We are striving to improve confirmation and not get color blind as many breeders have. In the show world, many are breeding for narrower hips and bodies, and though they look sleek on the table, the confirmation is only detrimental the long-term health of the dog. Everyone likes to win, but we believe the health of the dog is not worth a few blue ribbons.
As Dachshunds get older, many develop health issues along the way as many breeds do. Being diligent in keeping up with health checks, dentals and feeding good food and probiotics is key as well as breeding good bloodlines. The Dachshund is an amazing dog and deserves to be preserved to the best it can be. They live long good lives, many up to 18-20 years, and deserve to continue to do so.

- You can fly in and take the puppy on the flight back with you as your carry on. You will have to bring a soft pet carrier to fit under your seat during flight. When your puppy is old enough to leave (8 weeks) we will work out a time and day to meet you at the airport. It is an hour and a half drive one way from here.
- Fly into Dallas/Fort Worth, rent a car at the airport and drive down to our home and meet your new puppy’s dam and sire. We have had clients stay at a local hotel (around 6 miles away) and come pick up their puppy the following day.
- We have a few ground or plane carriers we can recommend to you to bring your puppy directly to you or wherever you would want to meet. In loving memory of my best friend, my heart, my love. Holly girl you left me to soon old girl. I still reach for you at night, hoping to talk about my worries. You got me through so much in the 7 years i had you. You gave me hope, joy, laughter and oh so many memories. I miss you so terribly. The times you would lay beside me and help me watch Netflix. Or read my books. Or just to take a much needed nap on a road trip. I miss the looks and silliness you would give me, even if some were attitude. You gave me so much courage to move on with life, and now I have to find that courage within myself on my own. Your son has done wonderful and is almost a champion just like you. He has pushed himself and so have I to make sure your memory lives on forever. Holly, I love you girl. So much. Know you have my heart for eternity. You can cross that rainbow bridge and find a happy place. You deserve to have complete joy and peace. I love you my baby girl . So so much. I will see you again one day. I know its never goodbye but ill see you later.

We have been blessed with some amazing dogs and bloodlines over the last few years. We have the true standards that range form 20 to 38 lbs. These are what was originally developed for Badger hunting. The standard temperament of dachshund is amazing, and many never go back once they have one. The Standards have more to give, basically all the wonderful things that we adore as dachshund lovers cherish about the breed is super sized. We have worked to bring in color to the standard lines while ensuring to keep the correct confirmation and disposition. With this breed coming in 176 color variations, we have finally achieved creams, brindles, piebalds and dapples after 17 years!

Want to Thank Amanda Hodges for a wonderful job she is doing with Austin. Maisy and Vito has been a phenomenal cross. Maisy is retired but we have 2 of her full sister's that we plan to breed to D'Vito in the near future.
